What is Dating Is D.O.P.E.?

D.O.P.E. stands for Disciplined, Open-Hearted, Purpose-Driven, and Economically Stable. We believe that these are the characteristics of someone who is relationship-ready.

DATING IS DOPE is a 1 year relationship readiness program to save you from these dangerous dating streets by helping you reflect on past negative relationship patterns, redefine love and therefore what you’re looking for in a partner, and reengage the dating process without hurting yourself or others. The goal is to increase your self-love, ability to love and be loved, and chances of finding love that lasts.

For the first 6 months you will be “out the streets” and we will meet in-person bi-weekly as a group to do and discuss the work in the relationship readiness curriculum. On off weeks, you will have activity-based assignments to do with other members. During the second 6 months you will be dating or “in the streets” armed with a new approach and tools such as our Rules of Engagement, Conflict Crusher, and Dating Quests & Questions.

Who is behind this movement?

The Divine Download came to me, Jullien Gordon. I'm committed to this because I believe in the power of family and community. Families run the world, not individuals. My parents divorced when I was young and I got divorced after a 7 year marriage. I still believe in love and learned a lot from my marriage. My heart is open but I think the dating process is broken and so I am seeking a new solution for myself and others.

I am supported by good brother, Chris Kazi Rolle, and my sister, Satrah Anuket. Chris Kazi Rolle is Founder of Together Apart and A Brand Called Me. He has been married for over a decade and is a proud father. Satrah Anuket is a healer and Founder of Healers United and worked closely with Queen Afua for several years.
