Together, Aminah West and Jullien Gordon founded Holding Space, a real estate investment and education company, committed to creating generational wealth through multifamily real estate.

Based out of New Orleans, LA, Holding Space leads Real Estate Invest Tours to help beginning investors find deals that will help them reclaim their communities, curb gentrification, and create generational wealth.

Today, Holding Space has a $4 million dollar real estate portfolio with multifamily homes in New Orleans, Brooklyn, and Oakland.

Visit Ready-To-Buy Properties
We will be touring 3 neighborhoods and seeing everything from fixer uppers to turnkey 2-4 family homes, and commercial properties that are on market, as well as off-market deals not yet on the MLS and sites like Trulia and Zillow. 


Multifamily Investing Workshop
We will show you how to quickly evaluate multifamily real estate deals from a distance using our Purchase Or Pass Deal Analyzer which you will get lifetime access to use and we will show you how we built our real estate portfolio step-by-step.


Wealth Building Workshop
We will lead you through a life visioning and financial planning session to show you how close you are to freedom. This private session normally costs $5,000 and takes a day but it will broken down to help you get quick results.


Network w/Natives + Investors
We believe in ethical investing. Therefore, not only do we want the perspective of Natives, we also want to partner with them on things they are doing and deals they are making in their city. It's priceless to have an ear to the street and eyes watching for you when you're at a distance.


Daily Transportation
We will charter transportation to take you around the city. This cost will be included in your registration. Ground transportation from and to the airport is not included.


Continental Breakfast + Lunch
Each morning we will gather and break bread to start the day as we lay out our itinerary and debrief from the insights and inspiration being generated by the experience. We will provide 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Who is this for?
This experience is for people interested in multifamily real estate, buying back our blocks, and creating generational wealth.

The goal is to ensure that you have the proper tools and savvy to vet investment opportunities, expose you to ready deals, and position you to possibly buy something on this trip whether solo or collectively.

This is especially beneficial if you have had trouble finding cash flow positive deals on your own or live in a market where the prices locally are too high for you to invest there.

Do get pre-approved before you come so you're ready if we find a deal that works for you!
Q: How is this different than just hiring an agent?
1. We personally vet all of the deals before you arrive, so every property you see will have a ~15% cash-on-cash return. An agent will not evaluate deals like that for you in advance.

2. We have relationships with multiple agents, lenders, and contractors to help you get the deal done, get the property renovated and repaired (if necessary), and get tenants in fast.

3. We collectively own 8 properties in New Orleans and know the lay of the land.

4. There may be an opportunity to invest in larger deals as a collective.

5. You will gain training on how to evaluate deals yourself in addition to life visioning and financial planning sessions with Aminah and Jullien.
Q: What if it floods in New Orleans again?
We advise all of our investors to buy adequate homeowner's and flood insurance. Flood insurance for a home in a Flood X zone is typically only around $700-$800 per year. In the event of a flood, your insurance policy should cover at the very leas the replacement value of your entire home.

We account for flood insurance during our deal analysis to ensure that your cash-on-cash return is still above 10% even with flood insurance taken into account
Q: How can I make sure my property is okay if I don't live there?
We have a network of property managers we will refer you to to watch over your property for you. They will be your eyes and ears on the ground.

Property managers typically cost anywhere from 6% to 10% of monthly rents. We account for that during our deal analysis so that your cash-on-cash return is still above 10% even with property management taken into account.
Q: Why are you hosting this trip?
We are in the process of raising a fund to invest in various Chocolate Cities across the United States. Our members already own properties in Brooklyn, Oakland, and New Orleans, and we see lots of potential in New Orleans, our stronghold. We are delighted to introduce you to the New Orleans market and the many opportunities for fruitful investment.
Q: What's included in the fee?
The $7,500 investment includes your lodging for 6 nights, meals, a group social activity in the city, and five full work days focused on developing content, establishing systems, and implementing your business model. This is not a retreat or conference. You will be working to achieve results and you will have the help to get it done quickly and effectively.

Q: What happens between now and the event?
Once we receive your payment, we will immediately begin working and have two 60-minute calls in the 2 weeks leading up to the event to do pre-work so that we can hit the ground running when you arrive. This will allow us to make the most of your time in New York and ensure the completion of your deliverables by the end of the week. 
Q: How much will it cost?
The investment is $7,500. You will make a $2,500 “I’m serious” non-refundable deposit now that will be applied against the $7,500 to reserve your spot and room. You will be staying at my home here in New York in one of five private bedrooms. You can also pay $6,500 in full before the May 1st deadline to save $1,000.

Q: How do I pay?
You can use the links above to make your deposit or payment in full. 

If you choose to make a deposit today, your next payment will be at the halfway mark between April 15th and today. And then your final payment will be on April 15th.

We could also arrange for a wire transfer if you would prefer that instead.
